Ethics Standing Committee

The Ethics Standing Committee is chaired by an independent person and made up of representatives of member companies of the French Insurance Federation. Its purpose is to study any proposed ethical commitment that the insurance industry wishes to adopt.

These commitments, which appear in the French Insurance Federation’s Code of Good Conduct, govern relations between insurance undertakings and their insured parties.

The standing Committee ensures that the insurance industry complies with these undertakings once they have been adopted by the bodies of the French Insurance Federation.
